The Centre for Postgraduate Studies (CPS) organized a half-day seminar entitled "Supervision of Research Students: From Final Year Projects to PhD" on 19 September 2018. The aim of the seminar is to promote effective research supervision and create awareness on research ethics among academic staff and postgraduate students. The seminar was conducted by Prof K. Sudesh Kumar from Universiti Sains Malaysia and it was attended by over 50 academic staff and postgraduate students. The topics that were covered during the seminar includes 鈥淚ntroduction to scientific research鈥�, 鈥淩esearch aims vs student鈥檚 training鈥�, 鈥淕rant requirements鈥� and 鈥淒ealing with academic plagiarism鈥�.
